UIA Social Habitat WPが「マニフェスト｜社会的居住のための建築：誰も置き去りにしない《住居》を求めて」を発表

UIA Social Habitat Work Programme は、2023年7月のUIA大会（デンマーク・コペンハーゲン）において、世界各国のWPメンバーの度重なる意見交換を経て作成した “MANIFESTO｜The Architecture of Social Habitat : Leave No One Behind” を発表、会場で数百部が配布されました。過去2年間のWP活動の総決算となるもので、「誰も置き去りにしない住宅」への各委員の思いが込められた労作です。大会後に各国のWPメンバーによる多国言語化が進められ、仏・伊・スペイン・中国・ハングル・スワヒリ・日本の各バージョンが下記UIAウェブサイトで公開されています。日本語版「MANIFESTO｜社会的居住のための建築：誰も置き去りにしない《住居》を求めて」の翻訳はUIA Social Habitat WPメンバーの坂田泉（JIA国際委員）が担当しました。

Social Habitat WPでは、本年11月に開催されるUIA国際フォーラム（マレーシア・クアラルンプール）で、本マニフェストを軸にしたイベントを企画しており、坂田委員も参加予定です。

The UIA “Social Habitat Work Programme” (SHWP), in which International Relations Committee member Mr. Sakata participates, presented at the UIA Copenhagen Congress the “MANIFESTO｜The Architecture of Social Habitat: Leave No One Behind”, which was developed after repeated exchanges of opinions among the members of each country as the final result of two years of activities since September 2021 and a labour of desire for ‘Social Habitat that leaves no one behind’ by each committee member. After the Copenhagen conference, the “Manifesto” was produced in multiple languages (French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Swahili, and Japanese) with the cooperation of members in each country. Sakata was in charge of translating the Japanese version.

And SHWP is also planning an event around the above manifesto at the UIA Kuala Lumpur Forum this November, in which Sakata will participate.
